US Navy’s Oldest Supercarrier Won’t Be Decommissioned Until Next Year

By law, the US Navy is required to operate 11 nuclear-powered aircraft carriers, which has required that the decommissioning of USS Nimitz (CVN-68) be pushed back to 2027
